On July 4th 2004, the Alexandria Riflemen were asked by the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, to present the final armed Salute over the grave of President Ronald Wilson Reagan. It was a great honor to be the Unit asked to perform this final salute that commerated the end of the Official Mourning ordered by President George W. Bush.
In February 2006 four (4) members of the Alexandria Riflemen traveled to Alexandria, Virginia to march in the Annual Gen. George Washington Birthday Parade, and Visit the Museum that houses the Original Flag Presented to the Alexandria Riflemen by the Ladies of Alexandria Virginia
