Table Rules For Maverick's Gaming Hall
There are two games that are played at Maverick's Gaming Hall.  Both of them are "time period" games, and are not considered "gambling" as such by the people of the time. "POKER" was considered an honorable profession, while "gambling" was considered a game of "chance and luck", that required no skill or ability. It was merely pure luck that usually gave the house the advantage and the money.

As a Professional Poker Player from Alexandria Virginia, it was only natural that, "Maverick Miller" would  engage himself in only games of POKER(However, he was considered a " Riverboat Gambler" by those less informed ) Also given his distaste for the less honorable games of chance, when he opened up his Gaming Hall, he would only allow those games to be played at the tables, thus he hope to attract the skilled, serious, and best gamblers in the area.  Also this would provide a place for those that enjoyed the game of POKER to enjoy the game for it's own merits.  Those being RELAXATION, GOOD ASSOCIATION,  AND PLEASANT CONVERSATION.

This being said, the only games of POKER that are played at Maverick's Gaming Hall are:

5 Card Stud Poker
Blackjack

Below are the table rules at Maverick's Gaming Hall for those playing:

5 Card Stud Poker

One of the Dealers at "Mavericks" will deal the hands of Stud Poker to insure that the game is  above board and that no one could possibly palm, hide, substitute, or otherwise tarnish the game.

The first card is dealt down to the players at the table.
The remaining  four (4) are dealt face up.

Players may bid their chips on each deal of the hand, or "check", as they see fit.

There is NO limit on the amount of bid or raise at the table.

The winning Hand will take the entire pot.

In the event that only the dealer and a player are at the Table, the Dealer will play against the player.  When another seat is filled, the Dealer will return to only dealing the cards, and cease from playing against the player.
Blackjack

A "Maverick's" Dealer will deal the cards to all at the Table, including the dealer.

The first card to all players (dealer included) will be face down, the following will be face up.

Players may split same cards (cards of the same number or face) ONCE.

The dealer will stand on 17, and hit on 16.

2 to 1 on a Blackjack
(This MUST be a Blackjack and an ACE)

All other winning hands will pay out 1 to 1.

There is NO "double down", Insurance, or "5 card and you win".

A tie between the Dealer and the Player(s), a "push", will result in the player receiving their money back and the bet it considered null.
